514.ax is the current product at Fiveonefour. It is the Agent Experience Platform: run unbiased simulations of coding agents against APIs, CLIs, MCPs, SDKs, and docs, then use the evidence to ship software agents can actually use. Live at 514.ax.
Core Features:
- Unbiased simulations: Every run starts in a clean, isolated sandbox. Prompts and setup read as ordinary work. If an agent notices it is being tested, that run is flagged and kept out of the statistics.
- Any agent, any model: The same experiment runs across Claude, Codex, Cursor, and other coding agents. Bring your own model keys, or use managed agents. Calls go through a run-scoped gateway so the sandbox never holds provider keys.
- Full capture: Transcripts, OpenTelemetry logs, errors, commands, and sandbox snapshots are versioned so success rate, cost, and wall-clock time can be compared across product variants.
- Evidence in the shipping loop: Experiment summaries land on pull requests, agent task success can gate a release, and success rates are tracked as friction is removed.
Fiveonefour started by building developer tooling for data infrastructure. Coding agents became the primary users of that tooling, and the internal system built to measure their experience became the company. Docs live at docs.514.ax.
